Tembea Youth Centre for Sustainable Development

Tembea Youth Centre for Sustainable Development is an indigenous community based development organization based in Siaya District, Nyanza Province, Kenya.The CBO was founded in 2003. Tembea’s main goal is to enhance socio-economic capacities of communities through asset based community development approaches. The centre works hand in hand and in collaboration with the local youth so as to achieve self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. They strive to accomplish this through environmental conservation and poverty alleviation programs at grassroots levels.
